Detailed Description
Transmission of monoradar target reports from radar stations.
- Overview:
- This category defines the transmission of monoradar target reports from a PSR (Primary Surveillance Radar), SSR (Secondary Surveillance Radar), MSSR (Monopulse SSR), or Mode S station to a radar data processing system. CAT048 replaces CAT001 in newer implementations for transmission of monoradar target reports.
- Target Report Types:
- Single PSR detection: Primary radar only
- Single SSR detection: Secondary radar only (Non-Mode S)
- SSR + PSR detection: Combined detection
- Single Mode-S All-Call: Mode S All-Call reply
- Single Mode-S Roll-Call: Mode S Roll-Call reply
- Mode-S All-Call + PSR: Combined Mode S All-Call and PSR
- Mode-S Roll-Call + PSR: Combined Mode S Roll-Call and PSR
