Measured position of a target in polar co-ordinates.

Format:

Four-octet fixed length Data Item

Structure:

• Bits 32-17 (RHO): Range
• Bits 16-1 (THETA): Azimuth

Resolution:

• Range: LSB = 1/256 NM (approx. 7.22 meters)
• Azimuth: LSB = 360/(2^16) deg = approx. 0.0055 deg

Range:

• Range: 0 to 255.996 NM
• Azimuth: 0 to 359.9949 deg
