Detailed Description

Warning and error conditions detected by the radar or RDP.

Format:

Variable length Data Item comprising a first part of one octet, followed by one-octet extents as necessary

Structure:

• Bit 8 (EC): End of Conditions (0=Continue, 1=Last condition)
• Bits 7-1: Warning/Error Condition Code
• Bit 1 (FX): Field extension indicator

Warning/Error Condition Codes:

• 0 = Not defined
• 1 = Multipath reply (reflection)
• 2 = Reply due to sidelobe interrogation
• 3 = Split plot
• 4 = Second range fuzzy
• 5 = Angular limitation
• 6 = Range limitation
• 7 = Range accuracy degradation
• 8 = Angle accuracy degradation
• 9 = Doppler accuracy degradation
• 10 = Excessive range rate
• 11 = Excessive acceleration
• 12 = Lost while tracked (coasting started)
• 13 = Radar present / radar test target
• 14 = Track update in current antenna scan
• 15 = Background interference
• 16 = SSR target noise/jammer
• 17 = Radar interference
• 18 = Noisy SSR plot (low confidence)
• 19 = PSR low confidence
• 20 = SSR multireply
• 21 = PSR/SSR missing
• 22 = PSR/SSR amplitude missing
• 23 = Smoothed with extrapolated data
