Transmission of monoradar service messages from radar stations.

Overview:

This category defines the transmission of monoradar service messages from a radar station (conventional SSR, monopulse, Mode S, conventional PSR, or PSR using MTD processing) to one or more Surveillance Data Processing (SDP) Systems. CAT034 replaces CAT002 in newer implementations.

Message Types (I034/000):

• 1: North Marker Message - signals antenna crossing North azimuth
• 2: Sector Crossing Message - 32 sectors per antenna revolution
• 3: Geographical Filtering Message - filter activation/deactivation
• 4: Jamming Strobe Message - indicates jamming strobe detection area
