Detailed Description

Absolute time stamping of the message.

Format:

Three-octet fixed length Data Item

Description:

Time of the message expressed as the number of 1/128 seconds elapsed since last midnight (UTC).

Resolution:

• 1/128 second

Encoding Rule:

This data item shall be present in every ASTERIX record.

Note

This time is given at an application level (time at which a message is filled), not at the communication level (time at which the data-block containing the message is sent).
